
George Hamilton
George Hamilton was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. He attended the Chounard Art Institute of Los Angeles, California and spent five years in Japan studying art and calligraphy. Regarding his art, Hamilton says: "I prefer to show the whimsical side of life, with imaginative use of color and design. The bulk of my work consists of whimsy ladies, cats, and still life paintings." Most of his works are acrylic on paper.
