Annette Banfi Schabowski
Annette, a Chicago born artist, has crated art most of her life. Her style has evolved from oils and watercolors to create a "traditional, yet contemporary" form of individual expression. Through her travels to Europe, Mexico and Canada she has been able to capture the richness and beauty of color and nature. Her photographs and slides, plus her love of nature, help to create representational works as well as colorful abstracts. She is currently working with monotypes. Annette is active in local Arts and Cultural groups, exhibiting her work in several galleries in the Chicago area as well as Michigan and Texas. She has won many awards in Juried shoes and enjoys the camaraderie of other artists.
